The Allotment Gate: Banned Files

Keep it under your hat, bach. The council does not need to see this.

This page is built like a shed noticeboard on purpose: rough evidence, untidy details, and story bits that did not make the final podcast edit.

Self-destruct timer

02:00:00 This page technically self-destructs if the allotment secretary finds out. Bookmark it while you can.

Episode #001: The Battery Event

Bryn in the shed holding a phone with The Allotment Gate notes
Exhibit 0: Bryn at work Behind-the-scenes phone notes from the shed while planning timestamps, frugal tool picks, and the bits too spicy for the first edit.
Car battery and kettle setup from Gwilym battery disaster story
Exhibit A: The Gwilym battery disaster Gwilym tried powering a kettle from a 2012 Ford Focus battery. Singe marks appeared on his prize marrow and Mr. Henderson blamed everyone except the extension lead.

Bryn's note

The smell of ozone sat in that shed for three days, and Henderson called it "suspicious electrical conduct." It looked more like allotment theatre to me.

That afternoon never made the full episode. By sunset, the kettle had tripped twice, the marrow looked lightly toasted, and half the plots were arguing over whether the setup broke two committee rules or six. The battery went home in disgrace. The mug of tea did not survive either.
